   Derived from root "tunggu" with prefix "me-". Can be used with or without an object: "menunggu bus" = waiting for the bus, "saya menunggu" = I am waiting.

   Istri saya sedang hamil tujuh bulan dan kami sangat bersemangat menunggu kelahiran anak pertama kami.

   My wife is seven months pregnant and we are very excited waiting for the birth of our first child.
